ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEK 30th AUGUST 2026 - TWENTY- SECOND SUNDAY

1. Today is the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. 2. The novena in preparation for the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady is underway. The Rosary is being prayed at 6.25 pm, followed by the Novena Mass at 6.45 pm. The list of offerings for each day of the Novena has been displayed on the Church Notice Board. 3. During the Novena days, regular Sunday School children will be rewarded. 4. On Thursday, 03rd September, there will not be the Eucharist in the morning; there will be the Novena Eucharist in the evening, 5. Next Sunday, 6th of September, Mass will be at 7:30 a.m. in Marathi and 9:00 a.m. in English. There will be no Children's Mass. 6. Sunday School will be held as usual at 8:30 a.m., but attendance will be taken only for half an hour. 7. The Parish Pastoral Council will have its meeting next Sunday, 6th September, after the 9.00 am Eucharist. 8.The Priest will be available for confession on Fridays and Saturdays at 6.00 pm. 9.The Bible Commission of Thane Deanery is organizing the Bible Quiz on the Pentateuch- “Five Scrolls” on Sunday, 20th September 2026, from 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm at St. Pius X School Hall. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEK 23rd AUGUST 2026 - TWENTY-FIRST SUNDAY

Today is the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time. Today we celebrate Justice Sunday. Women Cell members have their annual commissioning day tomorrow/today. The Novena in preparation for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady will begin on Sunday, 30th August. The list of offerings for each day of the Novena has been displayed on the Church Notice Board. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:25 p.m., followed by the Novena Mass at 6:45 p.m. Those who wish to contribute sweets for the children, snacks for the people, or make any other donations during novena days are kindly requested to hand them over any of the parish fathers or Parish office as early as possible. During the Novena days, regular Sunday School children will be rewarded. On Sunday 30th August and September 6th , Mass will be at 7:30 a.m. in Marathi and 9:00 a.m. in English. There will be no Children's Mass on these days. Sunday School will be held as usual at 8:30 a.m., but attendance will be taken only for half an hour. SVP members will be making their gate collection for the month of August today/to-morrow, after the mass. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacraments on Mondays and Fridays at 6.00 pm, before the Eucharist celebration. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEK 16th AUGUST 2026 - TWENTIETH SUNDAY

1. Today is the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. 2. Today we celebrate Prison Ministry Sunday. A second collection will be made towards the Prison Ministry after communion. 3. Tomorrow/Today there will be a Youth meeting at 11.30 am. 4. There will be an Annual General Meeting and get-together of the Malayalam Community tomorrow/today after the Malayalam Mass. 5. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacraments on Mondays and Fridays at 6.00 pm, before the Eucharist celebration. 6. The Priest will be available for confession on Fridays and Saturdays at 6.00 pm. 7. Next Sunday we celebrate Justice Sunday. 8. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEK 9th AUGUST 2026 - NINETEENTH SUNDAY

1. Today is the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time. 2. Today we celebrate Vianney Sunday. It is a special day to pray for all our priests, especially those who are sick and retired, and also those who have served in our parish. The special collection will be made after communion, which will go towards the Diocesan Clergy Fund. 3.We thank our Lectors and the Liturgy group for animating this Eucharist. (only for the 8.30 am Mass). They will receive their commissioning before the final blessing. 4. Saturday, August 15, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day. It is a Holy day of obligation where attendance at Mass is compulsory. Masses will be held in the morning at 9.00 am (English) and in the evening at 6.30 pm as the anticipated Mass for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. 5. Next Sunday, 16th August, we celebrate Prison Ministry Sunday. A second collection will be made towards the Prison Ministry after communion. 6.There will be an Annual General Meeting and get-together of the Malayalam Community on Sunday 16th August 2026 after the Malayalam Mass. 7.The parish team covered the biggest zone of Mother Teresa (Chakkinaka).
